Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan wrote his spelling words in his dictionary. He read Dog Man.

Kellan continued to work on the adding fractions with like denominators lesson. He added numerators while keeping the same denominator and then recognized if the sums were proper or improper fractions. Together, we completed problem-solving questions before Kellan answered the lesson's quick assessment on matching fraction expressions with their sum. We finished with our weekly game of multiplication war to practice basic multiplication facts.

Kellan read and discussed all his vocabulary words and the main ideas associated with the Reformation. He practiced finding the states on his map and matching the correct state capital to that state. He completed a crossword review pertaining to the Reformation.

Kellan used iron filings and a bar magnet to see the magnetic field around a bar magnet. He read about electrical energy and electrical current. He summarized the text and we discussed examples. I showed him a copper wire and discussed electric current. He watched a video about electricity.
