Kellan and I did a status check on the progress of his second book. Kellan completed two more pages of his book and I had him check them off of the list. Kellan continued working on his second book.
Kellan continued to work on understanding the concept of fractions. He reviewed the difference between numerators and denominators and how they represent a whole and recognized if proper and improper fractions represented more or less than a whole. Finally, Kellan completed a lesson on IXL on creating pairs of equivalent fractions using multiplication or division.
Kellan read about the water cycle and drew illustrated definitions of the terms water cycle and precipitation. We worked on his reading comprehension, and we discussed how water travels through the water cycle.
