Kellan and I played Pickleball for the first part of the period.
The second part of the period I introduced Kellan to a new game called "Bocce Ball".
We will continue to play this game after Spring Break.

Kellan took his unit test over the Renaissance.

Kellan took his test and made a 100. He read from his literature book, "The Watsons Go To Birmingham."

Today, Kellan worked on the next unit 'Review What You Know'. He used fraction-related vocabulary terms to complete sentences, wrote the missing values to show pairs of equivalent fractions, completed a number line by writing the missing fractions, and recognized the nearest benchmark fractions to given fractions.

Kellan read about floods and landslides. We focused on reading comprehension. He watched a video on landslides and we discussed.

Kellan read a short story called "The Lottery" today. We paused to determine the meanings of words in context.

Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan wrote his spelling words in his journal and highlighted letters to remember. We read The Watsons Go to Birmingham and discussed it.

Kellan and I did a review of his work and updated his checklist. Kellan continued working on a page of his second book.

Kellan and I began by reviewing last night's fluency practice homework before he completed daily review problems on 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication and long division. Then, we continued to work on comparing fractions using the shortcut method, finding common denominators, and using an equivalent fraction chart.
