This morning, Kellan began with an 11s fact check and the next unit's 'Review What You Know'. He worked on the vocabulary section, choosing the best division term to complete sentences. Kellan also solved multi-digit multiplication and long division problems after carefully rewriting the problems in the format needed to correctly solve.
Kellan read about the food chain. We discussed two diagrams of the food chain and he drew an illustration of the food chain in his notes. He viewed a video about the food chain and we discussed.

Kellan took his test over the Age of Exploration and made a 100%. He explored the 6th amendment to the Constitution, and discovered the importance of this amendment.
Kellan read about herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. He drew illustrated definitions of each term. He read about food chains and watched a video on food chains.
Kellan completed daily warm-up questions on comparing the quotients of basic division equations and a division word problem; 11's multiplication fact check; and multi-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping practice.
