Kellan was given his project and he worked on adding color to his project.

Today's daily review question addressed arrays and how to combine smaller arrays to make a larger array. We also reviewed multiplying by 4 with flashcards before Kellan found the quotients of dividing by 4 on the whiteboard. Then, the Unit 5 'Review What You Know' was completed on basic division facts, rounding to the nearest hundred, and solving a multi-operation word problem.

Kellan read about the needs of living things. He created illustrated notecards for the term environment.

Kellan reviewed for his test on the Middle Ages, and then took his test and made a 100%. He began a study of the Midwest States.

Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan wrote his spelling words in sentences. We made a T chart for cause and effect about Thanksgiving. We read about Pearl Harbor and discussed it.

Kellan began with daily review questions on reading word problems and determining the operation needed to solve them. Then, we used the flashcards to review the 4s facts before Kellan took a timed facts check. Finally, Kellan completed the unit's fluency practice on adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers and continued to multiply 2-digit by 2-digit numbers.

Kellan took his test over the Southern States and their Capitals and made a 100%. He finished his unit on the Middle Ages, and will take his practice test tomorrow.

Kellan read some of Cat Kid and dictated a story for me to type for him.
