Kellan read about the characteristics of living things: they reproduce, they grow, and they respond. He created illustrated notecards for the terms organism and reproduction.

I reviewed Kellan's project for grammar. I wrote out all sentences that had errors on a separate sheet of paper, corrected the issue and he corrected the text on his project.

Kellan worked on finishing his states and capitals of the South. We practiced for the test on matching states of the south to their capitals.

This morning, Kellan and I reviewed last night's homework on multiplying 2-digit by 2-digit numbers before he took the correlating quiz. Kellan used his multiplication chart and step-by-step reference when needed but did a great job following the steps and answering the questions accurately.

Kellan read about conductivity, boiling and melting points, and solubility. He created illustrated notecards with the terms and definitions. We reviewed the terms flammability, oxidation and reactivity.

Kellan worked on adding shading to his background of his landscape.

Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan took his spelling test. He read Cat Kid, and we discussed it.

Kellan was given a chance to work on a project of his choosing.

I substituted with Kellan and had him do some more reading of Cat Kid.
