design fundamentals. Henry worked on three designs today to show the use of "balance" in various art forms. One design was to show things that are symmetrical. His second design, showed the use of asymmetrical balance. His third was to show the use of radial balance.

design fundamentals. Yanuell will be doing a series of designs to show the use of "balance" in art forms. He will be making a symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial design. This information will be added to his notebook also.

design fundamentals. Jayne finished her "recycled" art form today, and also her dolphin collage. She did some "free" drawing to end her class session.

design fundamentals. Arianna worked on making a "recycled" art form today. She painted the palm frond with colors of water, then made a flamingo to put into the piece. She will also be doing an "Art Nouveau" piece for the last week.

design fundamentals. Alexa continues to work on her "Cleopatra" portrait. She is currently working on the "necklace" which is made up of very small delicate pieces. Once this is finished, she will add the facial color, and then move on to the background surface.

design fundamentals. Marcos continues to work on his "asymmetrical" painting today. He is also working on a "recycled" art piece. Once these are finished he will work on a "symmetrical" and a "radial" design, to complete his lessons on "balance."

design fundamentals. Using Danny's "art and crafts" time, we created a "recycled" art piece. He started with a palm frond for the background, then drew a marlin and added colors. We will then put the marlin on the palm frond, for a great "recycled" look. He also did a drawing of Spider Man, his favorite Marvel character.

design fundamentals. Jayne added two more dolphins to her original painting from Wednesday. She then began a collage about dolphins, as well as starting a "recycled" art project, using a palm frond for the background.

design fundamentals. Alexa continues to work very diligently on her "Cleopatra" portrait. This picture has a great deal of "detail", so it is going to take several classes to finish. Then she will tackle the background plus add all the extra details at the end.
