Using shaving cream she wrote some of her sight words.
Penny worked on practice reading with high-frequency words. Penny practiced reading words with initial and final "d" sounds in connected texts. Penny worked on phonics with saying the word "bread" and "dogs" and listening for the beginning and final "d" sound. Penny learned the word fiction and that they are made-up stories with characters, setting, and events. Penny found textual evidence in the text and pictures to support who the characters are, what event was happening, and what the characters bought. Penny practiced different activities comparing and contrasting items, such as schools in the past and schools now, and created a Venn diagram with pictures of the items. Penny practiced learning similarities and differences in numbers and patterns and easily wrote her first and last name. Penny also practiced the Pledge of Allegiance and discussed the meaning behind it. Penny also learned and traced a poem about friendship.
Opened with a light dynamic stretch, followed by a light dynamic warmup. Penny and I played a color coordinated reaction game. The objective of the game is to move from one color to the next before the time runs out.
