Bella was on point and focused during the demo process of a basic foil highlighting application.
She was positive and patient with herself, easily asking for help and support as needed during her own application of foil highlighting techniques.
During the time the hair lightener was processing in the foils, Bella made her own color wheel using red, yellow, and blue paint. This was the foundation of the lecture on color theory and the chemistry of color that we will continue to build on in the weeks ahead.
Bella demonstrated her natural talent, interest, and ability to focus today. Her first hair highlighting skills class was outstanding =)!
Bella didn't come into school until 11:45. I used the fifteen minutes together, to review SAT vocabulary and have her discuss the prior chapter read in A Thousand Splendid Suns.
We reviewed the rules on solving algebraic equations with fractions and variables on both sides. Then I completed many examples utilizing the steps to solve algebraic equations with fractions. Next Bella completed some examples utilizing these concepts to solve this type of equation.
