Field trip to Doris' Italian market, Bella introduced me to her favorite flavor gelato and we both ate some.

Today, Bella and I continued working on her T-chart listing citations from the Scene 1 and Scene 2 versions of Lago and Roderigo's conversation about Othello. We began writing a paragraph (with topic sentence, supporting citations, and elaboration) analyzing what these two versions show about Lago's character.

Bella looked up an article in USA Today to research the headline in today's news about Liz Truss, the PM of England and leader of the conservative party - and the reasons why she lasted only 44 days in office. Bella learned that Truss tried to roll out aggressive tax cuts that sent the pound plunging and the government into chaos. Truss resigned from office and is now the shortest-serving P.M in British history. Bella is also to research local democrats who are running for office in the upcoming election, but she will need to complete the assignment in tomorrow's class.

Bella learned about genetic mutations, classes of mutations, point mutation, causes of point mutation, types of point mutation, and frameshift mutation.

During today's class, we practiced Spanish by talking about family and personal relationships.
