Today, Bella and I completed our T-chart listing citations from Scene 1 and Scene 2 which show Lago's recounting of his conversation with Roderigo about Othello versus Lago's actual conversation with Roderigo about Othello. We discussed why Lago would lie to Othello about the conversation, and what this shows about Lago's character.
In today's class, we watched a video on the Calvin Cycle, going into detail about what it is, how it works, and why it is relevant in biology. Bella was able to ask questions when she was confused and did very well with the new challenging information.

Lesson Comments
Bella really liked the application and results of the enzyme peel on the surface of her skin.
Bella created a mixture of a bleaching powder and equal parts of 40 vol. H202 and applied it to the previously colored fringe area of the mannequin head in order to remove all color from the strands.
This procedure will need to be repeated in our next class on the parts of the fringe the color was not completely removed in the first application. Bella is learning how some man-made chemical solutions, such as artificial hair color, are engineered to stay put and therefore hard to remove.
