Tristan completed an applying concepts activity in his textbook - making a menu for a meal including three solids and three liquids. Tristan also illustrated the particles in a solid, liquid, and gas. Lastly, Tristan completed a cut & paste activity, reading the word shown and identifying if it was a solid, liquid, or gas.

Tristan stated that he wanted to exchange phone numbers with Christopher. He said that they are friends now and he was happy.
Tristan and I went outside and spray-painted the exterior walls of his display case white. I dried the wood panels, we placed blue tape over areas of the display case, and Tristan painted the white areas of the boards blue.
This morning, Tristan worked online solving numerous problems with multiple skills. He answered questions on finding the missing measurements of rectangles using given perimeters, the properties of equilaterals, elapsed time, writing equivalent fractions of number pairs, determining equivalent fractions using fraction strips, extending number patterns, and multiplication word problems.
Tristan and I began our session with lesson 4 - what are the states of water? Tristan wrote vocabulary in his journal such as states of matter, solid, liquid, gas, change of state, evaporation, and condensation. I then read aloud our textbook reading on lesson 4. Tristan completed an activity, labeling each item shown as a solid, liquid, or gas - dictated answers. Tristan was then tasked to complete a 'Sum it Up' activity, writing the vocabulary word that matches each photo. However, he did not complete it.
Tristan completed homework such as, language arts - suffixes, adding 'er' to the end of action verbs to make a new word that tells what a person does and read one page in the book, "Rose and Weed"; math - identifying how many groups of chocolate chips and then multiplying the two numbers.

Reading Eggs Lessons 91 -92 – Tristan completed lesson 91 and worked on lesson 89.
Today, Tristan continued to work with fractions, using multiplication or division to make fraction pairs equivalent. He also recognized when fractions were equivalent to half or one whole. Then, Tristan spent time finding the quotients of basic division facts and finished with determining the rule of given number patterns.
Tristan completed homework such as, math - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division review problems, paying close attention to the operation sign. Tristan then participated in a school-wide activity, enjoying ice-cream sundaes.
