Intro
Lesson Outline
Using Peter's Online Typing Course, Marcos began to learn the proper position for keyboarding - both body position and hand position. This will take much practice but the program is encouraging and gives immediate feedback on success and progress.

Lesson Comments
It seemed very apparent that Marcos has not had any formal training in keyboarding. It has been on his schedule for the entire school year, I believe, yet he still cannot type just "asdf" with the left fingers without looking at the keys. He has lots of room for growth and development in this skill, but I will say that he seems willing to recognize weakness and meet the challenge.

Lesson Topic
Library Search
Lesson Outline
In this lesson, Marcos used the computer at the library to search for many books that will be part of his language arts curriculum. While he is convinced that proper spelling is of no use because the computer does it for you, he learned today that the incorrect spelling of words makes searches for books titles much more difficult!
