Today, we started off class by going over Andrew's sketchbook. He has five drawings due by 8/8. After his sketchbook review, we reviewed how to choose a dynamic composition. Review the Critique guidelines in Andrew's binder and switch drawings. Using the examples in the packet, guide Andrew through his first critique and then give him one in return. Making sure to talk about all the elements of art, composition, and technique. For now, we aren't talking about concepts, so we are just sticking to critique about how well this person renders objects.
