Cameron is in Hawaii. I didn't want to upload a new video with new material until he finishes his quiz on evolution. I need to ensure he understands the material before moving forward.

Thank you for the call yesterday Judie. You described the failure to disclose to me Cameron's dyslexia as "negligence". While I appreciate the sentiment and forthright nature of your assessment, I'm more concerned with how to proceed, connect and overcome this challenge within the context of Journalism lessons. Professionally, I'm not trained in how to best deal with this. As I mentioned to you his lack of interest in participating in lessons, the effort I put into it seems to be reaching diminishing returns. You have helped so many children overcome obstacles and assist in creating amazing achievers perhaps you can help me adjust to this news / disclosure about Cameron's dyslexia with guidance from someone who specializes in presenting learning lessons to those who face such a challenge? I welcome any insight. Thank you!
We looked at the case study previously assigned and continued working on that as well as watched a video on the demise of the business and the media coverage.
In 1917, Russian communists (Bolsheviks) took power and turned Russia into the first-ever socialist one-party state. In the Russian Civil War, anti-Bolshevik forces were defeated, although they were supported by the U.S. and western European powers. In 1922, the party renamed the country the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (the Soviet Union). Under the repressive leadership of Joseph Stalin (1924-53), the USSR defeated Nazi Germany in WWII and became a global superpower, engaging in a conflict with the U.S. and its allies, known as the Cold War. Later in the course, we will learn that The Cold War featured numerous proxy wars, such as in Korea and Vietnam, in which the U.S. tried to stop the spread of communism.
