In today's class, we discussed lactic acid and alcoholic fermentation, including what they are, how they work, and why they are important in both biology and everyday life. We also compared them to aerobic respiration to see how they compared and differed.
5-4 Transformations of Piecewise-Defined functions – We learned to interpret for an absolute value function, g(x)= a|x – h| + k. We practiced identifying the horizontal and vertical translations defined by h and k. Then we learned that the value of the leading coefficient affects the vertical stretcher compression.
Assignment: For homework complete assigned problems.

5-4 Transformations of Piecewise-Defined functions – We learned to graph transformations of piecewise-defined functions. We identified the effect of changing constants and coefficients of absolute value functions on their graphs.

Although Cameron was absent for 5th period today, we were able to meet remotely during 3rd period and I advised him that World History work for this missed 5th period class today and on Mon., 11/7 has been sent to his email.
