Lesson Outline
Review for test on Topic 2 Linear Equations. We practiced how to write an equation in point-slope form from a graph. Then we practiced writing the equation from two points on the line. Next we practiced how to use the standard form to plot a graph, find the slope, and x, y-intercepts. We reviewed the steps to write and graph linear equations in standard form. We practiced changing from standard form to slope-intercept form.

Julius Caesar: Life & Assassination
Lesson Outline
Julius Caesar was an impressive Roman figure in ancient history. He is mostly known for his violent assassination by members of the Senate, and the betrayal of Cassius Longinus and Marcus Brutus. Caesar helped to form the First Triumvirate, an unofficial alliance, with two other powerful men in ancient Rome, Pompey, and Crassus. While dictator, Caesar focused on urban reforms that improved the lives of everyday Romans. Caesar had two biological children, Julia, who died in childbirth, and an illegitimate son, Caesarion with the foreign Queen of Egypt Cleopatra. Romans would never allow an illegitimate non-Roman to succeed him, so Caesar declared in his will that his grand-nephew Octavian was to succeed him. Caesar was the first Roman to be made a god, or deified, and is held in high regard in Roman history. During the turbulent 1st century BCE, Caesar changed the political landscape of Rome. He paved the way for the mighty Roman Empire.
