Joshua requested a little extra class time to finalize his project, and then he presented "Moderne deutsche Musik" a google slides project on the varying types of music in Germany today and what influences it, and how it compares to the music of the American youth.
Reviewed Present Perfect and discussed what happened over the weekend and wrote it out as well. Did Exercises in Deutsch Na Klar.
Watched documentary video on Karl May who authored Winnetou about cowboys and Indians in the American West. Karl May was very influential for Germans and his books were loved and made into movies and plays still now.
Reviewed present perfect through authentic listening exercises "In Meiner Kindheit" and "Im Nudelhaus und Restaurant" and conversation, plus fill in the blank answers for correct past participle and translation.
Hand in Lebenslauf - Resume
Joshua presented the last composer - Strauss - Finished Lebenslauf (resume) assignment and 5 sentences assignment about the weekend in the past tense - went over corrections on the whiteboard. Listened to authentic German dialogues and answered questions online.

Joshua was 15 minutes late this morning again so I gave him a nice "warning" that if he continues to be late I will have to subtract a half a point per class. Other than that the lesson went well.
Discussed the future tense - using werden or an adverb of time. p 329, 330. Discussed and translated German cartoon using the future "Poesie" by Erich Rauschenbach, then had conversations about what our dream jobs would be Exercise 2 "Wunschträume". Then Joshua had some extra time at the end of class to show me how far he's gotten on his project about Composers and work on it a little.
