Joshua was 10 minutes late again. Class went well.
I subbed for Joshua's German class today. He was instructed to do textbook work. He had to match the vocabulary word to it's description. The vocab was all career based words.
Finished Words in Context new vocabulary and listened to 3 dialogues with fill in the blanks. Discussed professions in Germany and viewed online career choices with explanations in German - career path with studying academically or hands on apprenticeships - reviewed possibilities and introduced new vocabulary. 5 sentences for present perfect reviewing what Joshua did last weekend to work on past tense.

Lesson Outline
Reise nach Mallorca presentation by Joshua and follow up review of the simple past grammar concept from the chapter using fill in the blank article. Also went over the five present perfect sentences "Was hast du am Wochenende gemacht?" which were due yesterday. Began video of the history of the potato in Europe/Germany and discussed its significance to the German culture. Encouraging Joshua to speak more in German.
