We shared about our winter break and issues with technology, as we both have new laptops. I had suggested to start working in a chapter from a B1 textbook, but Joshua expressed a strong preference for the Easy German videos he had worked with before. It is more of a unit study approach, since I have vocabulary lists and accompanying exercises for each video. We discussed all this in German, and Joshua expressed himself well.

After our broad review of A2 level skills, Joshua started to review the perfect tense, particularly the use of the auxiliary verb 'sein' with certain verbs. He completed a few different exercises.
We also spent some time conversing about the past weekend.
We start out with a short conversation about our weekend plans and minor challenges with technology. Joshua then completed the A2 evaluation we started yesterday. He did very well. We reviewed the use of the auxiliary verbs with the perfect tense and I have copied a few practice exercises into our Google file.
we started out talking about Joshua's college applications and plans for Christmas and the break. Joshua completed half on an online A2-level 'test' that will help reveal areas we should review and practice from this level bevor moving into B1. He did very well in both conversation and the test questions.
We focused on conversation and addressed topics such as what he did last weekend, his favorite colleges and his plans for the Thanksgiving week. We reviewed the perfect tense with the auxiliary verb ´sein´ and started watching an Easy German video on the topic of what Germans do on a Sunday.
Joshua continued studying the AP vocabulary and the AP main idea videos in Unit 1 followed by completing the AP topic questions on the lesson. He then started the next section on letters. I have posted all of the unit 1 lessons on AP classroom for him to study and complete this week.
