Lesson Comments
Liam's mom stopped by the classroom this morning and wanted to observe Liam working. She was concerned that he didn't understand long division. I worked with him on long division and how to check his answers by multiplying. He just needs practice on this, as there are several steps to achieving the correct answer. When he is rushed he gets flustered and has trouble remembering multiplication facts. Liam was agitated that she was observing him. He kept telling her to go home, he could observe himself. I think he had a problem with a tutor that comes to his house to work with him on math.
