Liam completed his calendar using his homemade barometer to determine today's weather. He made notations in his barometer log book. He read another folktale. Today's folktale was from China, "The Real Story of Stone Soup." We discussed the characters, their motivations, the main idea, story details, and made predictions. He drew an illustration to demonstrate the story sequence.

Liam studied the Solar System and the Planet Earth. He drew an illustration of Earth and wrote important facts he learned about Earth into his notebook.

Liam wrote a story about one of his Loud House characters. He included a detailed description of his character, where she lived, her family, and what they did for a living. He made an illustration of their store and drew the character Ronnie Anne. He wrote his new vocabulary words and their definitions into his notebook. Then he read and discussed the story, "Nail Soup."

We learned the ABC's in Spanish and completed reading skills by practicing letter sounds. We watched a video about ABC's in Spanish. He did well today.
