Matter Vocabulary Making a Gas Experiment
Lesson Outline
Liam watched a brain pop video on matter, and he successfully answered all the comprehension question about the video. He was able to identify the definitions of a solid, liquid, and a gas, and match each word with its definition. He played a match game with pictures of solids, liquids and gasses, and was able to put them in their proper groups. He properly read his homemade Barometer and predicted that today would be a good weather day. He participated in an experiment that produced a chemical reaction when he mixed baking soda with vinegar. The result was that the balloon attached to the water bottle blew up. He was quite impressed.
