Lesson Outline
Liam and I began our session with a calendar activity – identifying the month, day of the week, date, time, weather, and his feelings. Liam completed a warm-up activity focusing on math skills. Liam completed Lesson 4.7 Practice Multiplication and Division Facts – using patterns and related facts to solve multiplication and division problems, completing guided practice, independent practice, and problem-solving problems.
Liam visualized, read, spelled, and manipulated sounds in 2-syllable words with -ly, -le, and -ful affixes. He divided words into syllables and identified open and closed syllables. Finally, he read and visualized four sentences before adding his own ending.

Lesson Outline
Liam completed a series of reading comprehension stories about animal shelters. He focused on story details, characters, story problems and solutions, sequence of events, inferences, and making predictions. He learned about command sentences, and completed and activity demonstrating his ability to decide which sentence was a statement and which was a command.

Liam and I began our session with a calendar activity – identifying the month, day of the week, date, time, weather, and his feelings. Liam then completed a warm-up activity focusing on math skills. Liam completed Lesson 4.6 Division Involving 0 and 1 – completing guided practice, independent practice, and problem-solving problems. Lastly, Liam completed fifteen minutes on Math Prodigy.

Lesson Outline
Liam read three different articles today identifying characters, story details, sequence of events, the main idea of each story, and making inferences. He did a great job of expressing his thoughts about each story.
Liam read a reading comprehension story on the rainforest and the Cassowary Bird of Australia. He answered comprehension questions pertaining to the stories. He wrote the vocabulary words and their definitions into his notebook.
Calendar, Warm-Up Activity, Lesson 4.5 Multiplication Patterns: Even and Odd Numbers

Liam and I began our session with a calendar activity – identifying the month, day of the week, date, time, weather, and his feelings. Liam then completed a warm-up activity focusing on math skills. Liam wrote down Lesson 4.5 vocabulary such as 'even' and 'odd' in his math journal. Lastly, Liam completed Lesson 4.5 - Multiplication Patterns: Even and Odd Numbers, finding and explaining patterns for even and odd numbers - completing guided practice, independent practice, and problem-solving problems.
Liam and I began our session with an introduction of vocabulary such as effective, example, identical, imitate, material, model, observed, and similar. Liam found each vocabulary word in the glossary and wrote each definition in his language arts journal. Liam then read aloud an expository passage, "Bats Did It First".
