We continued working on the chord progression for Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. We worked on learning the lead guitar solo after the first chorus.

We reviewed and played the progression to Sweet Home Alabama. We discussed the music theory behind the way chords are built and their relationship to the notes in the major scale for the key of G major.

Since Kaitlin was online, we watched two instructional videos breaking down some of the parts of the song she is learning. We discussed a couple of alternate ways to play the parts, and we talked about the technique of palm muting.
