We worked on several of the songs Matthew is learning. We talked about moving bass lines and embedded melodies while playing chords. We worked on using a capo to change the key of songs while still using first position chord shapes.
We worked on learning the chorus to A Country Boy Can Survive, and the chord progressions to Condemned, and Knocking on Heaven's Door. We played through Margaritaville.
We continued working on the song One. We learned the next section leading into the first verse. We began learning the basic chords and intro lead guitar line to The Unforgiven by Metallica.
We continued working on some of the songs Matthew has been learning. We played Margaritaville all the way through along to the studio recording. We began working on the song Condemned by Zac Brown. We looked at how to position a capo to be able to use first position chord families and shapes to play songs written in different keys.
