Lesson Comments
I had Teddy and Libby together for the first 15 minutes while Elise looked for a sub for him.
Libby and I continued to work on the concept of comparing numbers 0 to 10. Today, she compared groups of objects in scattered configurations by counting and finding the number in the counting sequence. This helped to expand the understanding of comparing when objects are not lined up 1-to-1. Together we worked on the lesson's problems while focusing on good counting techniques and understanding the vocabulary equal to, greater than, and less than.
Libby and I practiced the following yoga poses: butterfly, rocking boat, balloon breathing, cow and cat, reverse table, downward dog, plow and headstand.
We played on the piano and talked about harmony and dissonance. We also played some very basic 3 to 4 note melodies. We played some rhythms on the drums set, and played along to some songs.
