We found a box and water bottle, and Ben found dirt outside to represent the flooding in Houston.

Ben had put on his list of items for his box an article about Covid. We did some comparisons of Covid in different countries.

Ben and I went over 23 geography features. Ben then repeated them into his notes using speak to text on his laptop. For weekend homework he was asked to use 13 of his newly learned features in a story.

Dutch was asked to record different geographic features and their definitions using the program Speech to Text.

Christopher watched a discovery education video on USA symbols. He learned about the Liberty Bell, the American flag, the Statue of Liberty, and the bald eagle. Christopher took notes during the video and wrote down three things he learned about each of the symbols. He completed a short quiz at the end of the video.
