Jess will be able to: 1) identify variables as response or explanatory; 2) Create and interpret a scatterplot (direction, form, strength and outliers); 3) Interpret correlation (she should also be able to use the formula to find correlation by hand, but will be able to use the ti-83 to find correlation beginning in the next chapter).
