Jess struggled a bit on the homework last night. She seemed to be over-analyzing. I think as she understands the material more (after covering 3.2 today), she will have less trouble with 3.1. 3.1 gives some of the basics, but it can be tough to understand without the deeper knowledge from the rest of the chapter.
