Spencer was commenting on the talent show and said maybe next year he'll do it. We discussed it as a learning opportunity to try something new. It is hard to be brave and do something new in front of other people but he was impressed with all the kids who did it and felt confident that he could do it next year. We took our talk outside into nature which is where Spencer does feel confident. It was a great session continuing some of the nature scavenger hunt. Spencer has really made progress with his social-emotional skills. He is getting along better with his peers and is showing more flexibility during our sessions and throughout the school day.
