He told me that he went to Jupiter Christian Academy yesterday. When we talked about anger, he told me that he was angry at his mom when she wouldn't text his friend Lucas mom for him to set up a play date.
Libby used twistables markers and magnetic letters to practice letters. We used Lively Letters to look at graphics to remember the letters and sounds. Libby wrote "first floor letters" (a,c, e, i, m, n, o, r, s, u, v, w, x, z) on paper with a house at the beginning of the line to help with the size of the letters. I read Tops and Bottoms to her while she played with the bear and rabbit stuffed animals from the story.
Chris took his spelling test. He reread the story in the book. He wrote a piece of fiction about bionics. We looked up the two people mentioned in his story who have prosthetics. We also looked up Bethany Hamilton who lost her arm by a shark bite and is living a great life without a prosthetic.

Chris showed interest in this topic and was excited to write a science fiction paragraph.
Libby used my small dry erase board to write the letters as I said them. Using rubber letters, she said the letters as I showed them to her. I read Dear Mrs. LaRue while Libby held the stuffed dog. She showed me where the title is.
