Bobby is not studying at home. Each day that we meet, we need to go back over the work we did the day before. I've shown him "short-cut" ways to learn the vocabulary and he isn't doing it. He needs to study!! Spanish 1 students need to construct simple sentences: subject, verb, object. His grammar is usually ok, his vocabulary needs work.
Nicole answered exercises B, C, D and E. Prior to answering, she read each sentence for pronunciation She then translated the sentences and finally answered the questions. She added vocabulary to her word bank. We reviewed grammar as needed.

Nicole read the 2nd portion of Los Vampiros by repeating portions of each sentence after I read them. This helped her learn the proper pronunciation. She then read the material on her own, translated each portion and added new vocabulary to her word bank. When she completed the story, she did exercise A. Nicole did well today.
