Verb tener, adjectives, possessives...

After a 15 minute grammar review, Bobby began reading El Perro, part 1. He read in Spanish and then translated into English. He put new vocabulary words into his word bank. We reviewed new grammar as it appeared in the story.

Nicole completed reading in Spanish. We reviewed the words Nicole had difficulty pronouncing. She then read again, in Spanish and translated into English. Nicole added new vocabulary to her word bank. She will continue translating the remaining 7 sentences of Los Vampiros for homework.

Bobby completed reading and translating El Robot. He answered the questions from exercises a, b, c, d and e. He did well.

Nicole read in Spanish then translated into English Part 1 and continued on with Los Vampiros. She added to her word bank with new vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. Nicole is doing well.

Bobby read, translated and added vocabulary to his word bank for part 2 of El Robot. When he completed the section, he answered the questions from part A. Bobby reads well in Spanish. His vocabulary is increasing and his grammar is improving.

Bobby read each question,in Spanish, in exercises A, B, C & D. He translated them and then answered them in Spanish. We reviewed the new vocabulary - added them to his word bank; then went over grammar.

We began the session with a review of the 2 verbs that mean "to be" - ser and estar. Nicole created sentences using these verbs and adjectives. We then reviewed "tener" with feelings and "ir" with places. Nicole then began reading Part 1 of El Robot. She read in Spanish then translated into English. Nicole added vocabulary to her word bank.
