David practiced writing his Spanish conclusion paragraph. Then, he wrote the graded version of the paragraph from memory on a piece of paper.

Kaitlin knows about half of the 53 verbs and wrote the first paragraph of her essay. She completed the self description using ser.

Kaitlin and I worked on her vocabulary cards. Today, she knew 19 of them well, kind of knew about 12, and did not know 20 of them.

She needs to finish making the cards that should have been finished before. She needs a total of 60 from the approved list.

She then needs to study them well enough to pass the vocabulary portion of her final exam.

She was told that she needs to know her body paragraphs as well.

David worked on the next two portions of his exam essay. He is doing a great job with the essay though we did simplify it slightly to make it easier for himself.

Today we spoke about the differences between Saber and Conocer and we looked at the conjugations of the go verbs.

Ben and I wrote a topic sentence for the paragraph that he did yesterday.

We used the verb tener to ask people specific questions about things that they may have or not have.

Cam and I briefly reviewed for his test. He seemed well prepared. He then took the test.

David practiced writing his essay in Spanish.

He wrote out all the paragraphs of his essay.

He then practiced writing his first body paragraph multiple times.

He wrote his body paragraph for a grade. He did an excellent job.

Today, Ben used the verb tener to write his first paragraph in Spanish.

He discussed the people and items that he has in his life.

We drafted the thoughts in English first and then in Spanish.

We ended with 5 good body sentences.

I read the paragraphs that Kaitlin wrote. They had some good fundamentals but used words of which she did not remember the meaning and expressed ideas that she thought she remembered on vaguely.

So, we reworked the 3 paragraphs that she submitted.

I gave her notes to make sure that her adjectives match her nouns in gender and plurality (multiple cases where they didn't).

We checked her notecards. She is about 10 shy of where she needs to be. She should have memorized all of these as of last Friday. We did not have time to check her level of knowledge on these today or write her Introduction and Conclusion as the body paragraphs still required a good amount of work.
