We worked on writing Kaitlin’s 3 body paragraphs.
Lesson Outline
We built on the paragraphs that she started with Teresa adding multiple sentences to each paragraph. We discussed how the same principles that apply to good essay writing in English apply to good writing in Spanish. We highlighted some examples but let her know that with our limited time left in class, we would focus more on the fundamentals. She wrote good sentences that tie back to her topic sentences for each paragraph.

Lesson Outline
Kaitlin and I worked on her vocabulary cards. Today, she knew 19 of them well, kind of knew about 12, and did not know 20 of them.

She needs to finish making the cards that should have been finished before. She needs a total of 60 from the approved list.

She then needs to study them well enough to pass the vocabulary portion of her final exam.

She was told that she needs to know her body paragraphs as well.
