Cam took the quiz on both his saber v. conocer and -go verbs. He got an A on the quiz. We then previewed Spanish 2 for him. He then reflected on the semester in Spanish class. He participated in some extra credit and wrote a paragraph about his experience.

Lesson Outline
We discussed the meaning of the sentences as we did so to help him connect the ideas in his mind in both English and Spanish. He practiced constructing the paragraph multiple times in his mind and aloud. He studied the paragraph 1 more time and then wrote the graded paragraph. He did an amazing job and earned an A on this paragraph.

We discussed how the same principles that apply to good essay writing in English apply to good writing in Spanish. We highlighted some examples but let her know that with our limited time left in class, we would focus more on the fundamentals. She wrote good sentences that tie back to her topic sentences for each paragraph.
David worked on the next two portions of his exam essay. He is doing a great job with the essay though we did simplify it slightly to make it easier for himself.
