It took David a little while to get online so we did not make it to the list of 12 verbs. As anticipated. He is taking a little longer with the material than Kaitlin.
We reviewed for the test including greetings, times, weather, and seasons.
We took the time to show Kaitlin how to do internet searches in Spanish. We also accessed Studyspanish.com so that she can study for this test and every other one independently.
We looked at the packet regarding the most used verbs in Spanish. We read the list of verbs and translated them.
Assignment
Test ext week. Study printed vocabulary list and use websites. Up to 5 EC points for each word translated on printed list
We then discussed numbers 1-100 making sure to ask specific questions of what may appear on the upcoming test.
David had questions about currencies in other countries. We discussed them briefly.
We discussed days of the week and months of the year getting into details such as the fact that these days are not capitalized when written in Spanish.
We briefly reviewed greetings, farewells, numbers 1-100, days, dates.
Then we quickly moved into telling time and discussing weather. While Kaitlin does seem to benefit from this brief review of these preliminary topics we continue to move through them rapidly as she seems to have a good foundation with them.
Lastly, we finished with some statistics given by the Spanish Royal Academy on which 12 verbs are used the most in the Spanish language. We will focus our efforts on these verbs this year.

Kaitlin had some wonderful insights regarding the languages that people in her life speak and the countries they visit.
