We reviewed several words that we had last year so as these words were re-introduced today he was able to pick them up quickly. I am pleased with his progress and looking forward to adding to his vocabulary this year. His foundation has become solid. I am encouraging him (and will continue to encourage him) to say a few sentences to his father in Hebrew!

New words were introduced today in the family of 'directions' such as "Where is ________ street?" or "Is Rabin square here?". We learned "It's here" or "It's there". Ayden took notes on his computer and was able to refer to them during conversation which helped.

I am pleased with his progress. We have completed our review and will move onto new words in our next session. Ayden had a great idea to put all the words he has learned into Quizlet so we can review before class.

Another good day for Ayden. He was focused again today. We picked up a few new words and he was able to recall the new words from yesterday and use them in sentences. Repetition! I hope he keeps this up as his grasp of the Hebrew language will grow this year. I think the shorter sessions are helping.

Ayden was focused today! We spoke some compound sentences today. For example, "I am American but I understand a little Hebrew." This takes more complex comprehension and he was able to do this. We learned a few new words too and additional words that needed conjugation. Keep up the good work Ayden.

Ayden and I were building on yesterday's vocabulary and practiced simple Hebrew conversation. He learned how to say "so well" as in "I don't speak Hebrew so well" versus "I speak "a little" Hebrew. We were also reinforcing feminine and masculine conjugations.

Great to see Ayden again! We reviewed basic phrases like "Excuse me, do you understand English?" as spoken to a man versus a woman. And, "Hello, How are you?" as spoken to a man versus a woman. Ayden was able to remember to conjugate correctly(!!) and we were off to a good start today.

We learned several new words today so I asked Ayden to study them over the long weekend. Words like "to buy", "to do" and more. We focused today strictly on conversation using audio files. I would pause them frequently and "test" him along the way and practice with him so we move very slowly through the audio files so he can retain as we learn.
