We focused on the Hebrew letters today. Ayden is still learning the names of the letters but making progress. We reviewed a little Israel geography and played some Hebrew games today.

Today we reviewed the alphabet using a matching game and continued on with pairing images with Hebrew audio. "I live in a house", "We live in a house", etc. Also, we listened to a video in Hebrew to hear real conversation.

Live from Israel :). Good to see Ayden today and pick up where we left off. We focused on "in", "on" and "under". Ayden had to view an image and pick the right word, i.e. "The cat is xxxxxx the car". We also revisited the Hebrew preposition "shel" which needs to be conjugated according to gender and number (singular or plural). Finally we touched on the Hebrew word "et" which is used often in Hebrew to introduce a direct object but has no English equivalent which can make this word confusing.

We continued to review words like "socks" "belt" "pants" and colors like "purple" "orange" and "pink". Most of our exercises are Hebrew audio along with Hebrew reading and choosing the correct image. Ayden is working on his pronunciation in addition to vocabulary.

We had many, many NEW words today so the lesson was a challenge and we will need to repeat it a few times. We learned several colors in Hebrew, such as pink, gray, purple, brown etc. and the word for "color". We also learned "hungry" and "thirsty" and the words for "hair" "belt" "shoes" etc. Ayden was engaged and focused.
