Made Pilgrim hats and Indian headbands - Thanksgiving Party - played with treasure box toys. Read 'The First Thanksgiving' and 'Thanksgiving Jokes' and 'Squirrel's Thanksgiving Party. Started taking down decorations so we can put up Christmas decorations when we return - went to look for Christmas tree box in other building.

Quinn and Anna did a fine job today. They were excited about the break; but sad about a friend who had died this morning. They played the number game well and we practiced the days of the week as well.

Calendar, 100 chart. They were almost an hour late this morning due to traffic and they could not stay focused because their Poppy was taken to the hospital this morning. Anna could not stop talking about it. So, we made cards for him - drew pictures, practiced printing while copying greetings from the board. Went for a walk with Mom and Mom came and played with us. They were better after lunch. Practiced reading phrases and sentences on the board. Reviewed sound of /s/ and did initial sound worksheet. Wrote 2's with chalk - Anna finally has it mastered - Quinn still not consistent. Did puzzle word book together.
