Continue time zones/complete exercises adjusting time based on travel from one part of the country to another.
Go over/give examples of formulas for area (A=LxW) and perimeter (P=2L+2W) for example, to seed a lawn you need to know the square area so that you know how many bags of seed you need (each bag covers 350 sq.ft.) multiply length times width of yard then divide by 350. To find perimeter (for fencing a yard) multiply 2x length and 2x width and add the two.
Explain that weight loss is achieved by burning off more calories than you take in, for example, foods have different calories and you have to burn/use 3500 calories to lose 1 pound. Georgia was about 10 minutes late getting online. However, she did work well once she started- not a lot of complaining - just pretty tired of math in general.
Finding interest rate(s) for charge accounts (unpaid balance);determining mortgage insurance and mortgage payments (fixed rate) for 15, 20,25 years and 30 years - amount saved if mortgage is paid in 25 years instead of 30 years.
