Lesson Comments
Today Gwendolyn was 30 minutes late to class. Also I have noticed that her eyes were pretty red and sort of watery so the only I suggested was to use some sunscreen to avoid any sun burns.
Today Gwendolyn shared about her weekend games and how she played outfield in the 6 games she was in.
She practiced trapping, kicking, dribbling the ball and covering the goal for soccer.
She then switched to hockey and practiced passing, dribbling and shooting in the goal.
Gwendolyn completed the Social Science section of the Stanford Achievement Test this morning. We began the Listening section, but did not have enough time to finish.
Today Gwendolyn mixed up some Applesauce Puff muffins. She mixed the flour, sugar and cinnamon together. Next, she added the applesauce, milk, eggs and oil and blended it until it was well incorporated. Gwendolyn then greased the muffin pan and filled the cups 2/3 of the way up with the batter. Once the muffins were done cooking, Gwendolyn removed them from the pan and rolled them in melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
Today we went over body parts vocabulary and did an exercise labeling "Carlos". We read on Raz Kids : Mi cuerpo & mi cabello. We wrote a short paragraph describing the hair of people that we know. We used many adjectives.
