Lesson Comments
Great lesson. Students were prepared and participated effectively.
Students had begun the process of topic selection for paper.
We had a symbolism extravaganza in class today. We discussed all the possible symbols in The Man to Send Rain Cluds and THe REd conertible. Students brainstormed and went a little crazy. Devin and Ashley surprised me with the depth and scope of their comments. Sadie sat a little more on the sidelines at first but then she jumped in.

The students did well. I am certain that Ashley surprised herself.
Began class with a review of regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs in the imperfect tense by placing several questions on the board in the imperfect tenses as well as the present tense. I had Devin identify which one is imperfect and which one is present. Then he answered them accordingly, in the correct tense. Then we reviewed all his verb conjugations in the imperfect tense by creating a chart on the board for -ar, -er, -ir verbs and the irregular verbs "ir" and "ver."
