Cole is already into paragraph 3 of essay. We discussed and edited the first 2, and ran some more creative ideas past Cal, who was kind enough to chime in and suggest outline topics for paragraphs 4, 5, etc.

-began humorous passages in 'conversion of the jews' short story and related to Hemingway's sense of humour and character-fate
