Will continued to have trouble today. In the grammar exercise, he couldn't remember many of the different parts of speech. He even tried to argue that he'd never been taught adjectives, which is most definitely not the case. Instead of slowly working through each choice, he was just point and clicking. He also had trouble with the fill in the blank exercise. However, his typing continues to improve. He's now added 6 letters on top of the home row, and is doing very well.
There was a lot of activity in the computer lab, and even with the headphones it was very distracting for Will. He continued to have hard time focusing in the reading section, in which he usually does much better. On the bright side, it forced him to really slow down on the spelling and he seemed to do better today.
Will did a great job with fastforword today, especially with the fill in the blank exercise. I think today was the best he's ever done on that one. He took his time, and for the first time, actually stopped to ask me for help on certain words.
Will started out strong on the combining sentences exercise, but as the ideas got more complex, he started to have a lot of trouble. I noticed it was mostly when the changed the order of ideas from the original two sentences. He was concentrating, but I think the structure of some of the sentences was throwing him. He did pretty well in spelling, but is still having a lot of trouble with words with double letters.

Will had no trouble focusing today, but had some trouble with the fill in the blank. He's gone back to rushing through it if he doesn't know all the words. I had him slow it down and stop the think about each word individually, but some of them still threw him.
WIll did very well with fastforword today. Spelling is still a challenge for him, and often when he sounds a word out, he has a hard time picking with vowel makes that sound. We'll work on it in class.
Matching word sounds and like words: Patrick did an excellent job matching word sounds and matching like words. He was respectful and worked diligently. Good job Patrick
