Punctuation and word sounds: Maya did a very good job finding the correct punctuation for sentences and matching word sounds. She worked hard and was very respectful.

Ayden read sentences and selected the appropriate words to complete the sentences. He also practiced proper digraph usage to complete words.

Will had some trouble with the sentence completion exercise today. The vocabulary wasn't that difficult, but for some reason he was having a hard time processing the information. I would tell him what words meant, but he would forget the definition two questions later. I then had him try to eliminate the wrong answers first as a way of helping him find the correct one, but that was a bit overwhelming for him.

Will did a good job today. He had a little trouble with the spelling, but there were a lot of new words.

Patrick practiced beginning Sounds, pitch/tone, and CVC short vowels in the Fast ForWord program.

Fast Forward: Ayden responded to sound patterns, scoring a hight score. He was respectful and did his assignment. Good job Ayden.

We were back in the Skype room today and it clearly makes it easier for Will to focus. He did very well today.

We had to work with the headphones in the computer lab, which is definitely more difficult for Will. He not only has issues with the headphones, but is easily distracted by any other noise in the room. Consequently, he did not have his best day on fastforword.

Will did a good job with fastforword today. He had a little trouble with the sentence complete ions, but I'm very pleased at how he's slowed down on the spelling. His typing is improving as well. We added 4 new letters today.

Will did a good job today. I was especially impressed with his improved spelling. He still makes some simple errors, specifically forgetting to include a letter after he sounds out the word.
