Quinn and Anna completed their pages for the book/mobile. We got the supplies together, put the pages in order, and added a page.

I reviewed Christopher Columbus information with Quinn and Anna. They started creating their Columbus books.

Today we tried playing chess without the no stress cards. Anna was very reluctant at first, but decided to give it a try. We really focused on slowing down and looking at very option before moving. I allowed them chances to change their moves after I pointed out other options. This was definitely a different type of game than they were used to, but I thought both Anna and Quinn did very well. Next week I'm going to introduce some drills/mini-games to help them understand different game situations.

Grammar- nouns- We created a noun book.

Anna and Quinn both took their spelling test. We worked on reading Wilson sentences with fluency and expression.
