Quinn and Anna continued to work on their Native American project. They finished labeling 7 tribes and the locations of their territories. We discussed the houses that they built, the materials, resources, etc. They glued these onto topographical maps that they created. They will be making a Native American poster.

Identify the feature of an ocean and the plants and animals that live there. Understand the food.Define ocean, discuss the page B40-41, how are all of these animals alike.What do ocean animals eat? Discuss the the food chain and food web/connection.
Students will complete and record addition problems using two-digit coin amounts. They will understand the process for adding money, written using cent notation, is the same as adding whole numbers.
Both Anna and Quinn read stories and used their inference skills to answer questions. Quinn did a great job at this and wrote his answers down and read them to me.

Anna had a very difficult time with this. She just kept saying "I don't know" I guided her through the process but had to have me feed her every word for each sentence. We will continue to work on this concept.
Quinn- Wilson- Welded sounds- played the welded sound game and read sentences including those words.
Anna- Wilson- Read and spelled multi syllable words. Anna struggles with the encoding part. We have been working very hard on this.
