Today Charlie made S'mores croissants with Nutella, marshmallows and chocolate chips. Charlie started with Crescent Rolls, he than spread the Nutella evenly on the dough. Next, he put 8 mini marshmallows and 8 chocolate chips on each triangle of dough. Then Charlie rolled the dough up. He placed them on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and baked them for 9 minutes. The S'mores croissants turned out delicious.

Today Kailynn-Rose made chocolate chunk cookies. In a large bowl we beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until it was light and fluffy. We then combined the flour, baking soda, and salt. Kailynn-Rose then helped stir the butter mixture and the dry ingredients until they were well blended. We then dropped rounded teaspoonfuls of batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet. The cookies turned out delicious!!

Charlie measured and mixed all of the ingredients together for his chocolate, chocolate chip cookies. Charlie thought it was very cool how quickly the milk chocolate changed the color of the cookie dough. Next, we baked the cookies. They turned out extra chocolatey!
Today Marcos made a delicious batch of Oreo truffles. He first pulsed the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they were finely ground. Next, the Oreo crumbs were mixed together with cream cheese. Marcos rolled the mixture into 1 inch balls and placed them in the freezer. While the truffles were chilling, he placed the Oreos in the food processor to make a crumb topping along with melting dark and white chocolate. Finally, Marcos dipped the truffles in the dark chocolate before rolling them in the crumb mixture.
This afternoon Arianna and I enjoyed making Oreo Truffles. Arianna counted out the necessary Oreo cookies. We then put them in the mini-food processor to grind them. Arianna assisted in setting the microwave to soften the cream cheese. She then worked to mix the cream cheese and Oreo crumbs together. We rolled balls of the mixture and put them in the freezer to set. Arianna worked hard in helping me dry the dishes we used as I washed. Next, it was time to melt chocolate chips! We dipped the set Oreo balls into chocolate, then cocoa powder and crushed Oreos. Arianna enjoyed serving some to her peers and teachers at school, as well as packaging up a plate to bring home!
