Today Jonathan and I reviewed how to connect on Teams. We then played games and drew pictures on the whiteboard while I was right down the hall. We drew some additional pictures and created a story in a PowerPoint file, then sent an email to Ms. Patti after that.

Lesson Comments
Jonathan is very fast learning how to navigate the computer. He does get distracted with video games at times, and had to be asked several times to pay attention because of it. He learned to email, connect in Teams, and work on Whiteboard.
Today our session was shortened due to a birthday party in the cafeteria for another student. We will continue to work on computer skills through Teams next class.

Lesson Comments
Jonathan was cooperative and is very intelligent. He is already efficient with a computer but had not yet been introduced to "how to log in to Teams" on his own, which we did today. He is quick to grasp concepts but can get absorbed into games at times.

Lesson Comments
I was asked to take Dutch again today from 12:30pm to 1:30pm even though I already had him from 11am to 12pm. Apparently Valerie was supposed to have him at 11am but Nicole asked both of us to take him at 11am. Unfortunately, this time he is not answering the call at 12:30pm. Elise called his mom around 12:45pm and I waited until 1:00pm before hanging up.
Today we worked on the PowerPoint presentation for Dutch's fishing charter business idea. We developed a few slides to explain the profits to an investor who puts up $100k for 25% stake in the new boat's business.

Lesson Comments
Dutch was interested in the project but his attention dissipated in the last 20 minutes (he was remote today). He dropped offline at that point, and I tried to call him back, but he did not respond in the last 15 minutes.
Today Kellan logged into Office 365 and used PowerPoint to create a new presentation. He painted pictures of fictitious characters named Tim and Jack and we plan to finish the presentation next class.

Today Kellan and I discussed process and strategy for him to login on a computer and connect to teachers through Teams. In our next session we will test this connection at school. This will prepare him for remote learning if needed in the future while developing other computer skills.
